Framable Flowers - Framed! A Local and Sustainable Art Venture

Some of my Framable Flowers are going up today at the Corner House coffee house in Lombard (great local coffee shop and art gallery). I wanted to take a moment here to show off these absolutely gorgeous frames from Grace Reclaimed Woodworks in Aurora, Illinois. They are handmade from reclaimed maple flooring and add so much texture and presence to these prints! The printing and framing was done by Photo Innovation Lab in Oak Park, Illinois, making this a completely local venture!

These prints will be for sale at the Corner House starting March 9. Twenty percent of the purchase price benefits Studios630, a local artist organization that provides networking, exhibit and sales opportunities to emerging artists. Stop by and see these beauties if you're in the area, and pick up a cup of locally roasted coffee while you're there.

You can see how gorgeous these look framed! When you order the prints, you'll find they easily fit into standard square frames with either an 8x8 or 12x12 opening. No mat is necessary. You can even frame them without glass to show off the texture of the 100% up cycled cotton paper.  SHOP FRAMABLE FLOWERS HERE!
